Goodbye Memphis

It's that time again...we are packing up and moving on to a new destination. After spending a short 22 months in Memphis, our new set of orders will take us back to Point Mugu, California. We fell in love with the west coast during our first tour and cannot wait to get back. This move isn't going to be easy, especially with two little boys in tow. Jon has two months of training in Norfolk to complete before we can head out west. Since a deployment is on the horizon for us, the boys and I are tagging along with Jon for a long "vacation"!

We had so much help from my mom, we couldn't have done this move without her. She flew into Memphis a few days before the packers arrived to help entertain the boys while we worked on the endless to-do's and moving prep. If that wasn't enough, she drove 11+ hours with the boys, kitty and myself back to Kansas while Jon stayed behind with the packers and movers.
